Should you wish to extend your canapé service or add additional courses, the team at
HARE & GRACE will be more than happy to accommodate these and any other additional requirements.
Entrees can be ‘shared’ down the centre of the tables as well as desserts, at no additional charge allowing your guests to share amongst the tables.
Dessert can be served petit four style, on a dessert station ensuring that people dancing, table hopping and socialising at the bar don’t miss out on our decadent final course.
A cheese course can be added at an additional cost of $8 per person or $24 per platter.
The maximum capacity for a seated Wedding reception in our dining room is 120 people.
To seat this amount the dining room will be set as three long tables.
The duration for a Wedding at HARE & GRACE is for 4 hours.
The minimum spend for a Wedding held on a Saturday is $12,000; Weddings to be hosted Sundays, public holidays or during the months of December through March will require separate quoting from our Events Manager. Weddings held on a weekday will be quoted separately with a minimum spend of $6,000.

The Ceremony is the first impression of your unique style as you commence married life; HARE & GRACE’s fresh and beautiful open air courtyard overlooking our vegetable and herb garden, and historic Collins Street reflecting in the iconic Rialto towers is a stunning option as the background for your vows.
For an intimate and truly beautiful setting, our historic bluestone bar accommodates up to 100 guests yet exudes an intimate and luxurious setting with three gorgeous windows set in original bluestone, a stunning backdrop for your Wedding photos.
On-site ceremony charges of $800 apply, depending on the time in which you will need to perform your vows and subsequent access times.
HARE & GRACE will provide you with 8 complimentary black chairs if required and a picturesque wine barrel as a signing table when using our courtyard for the Ceremony. If you wish to have your ceremony inside the building we can provide you will a high round table for your signing table.
WEDDING INCLUSIONS AND TERMS
- A senior manager for the duration of your event.
- Our fantastic front of house team who are trained to work in our restaurant as a la carte waiters.
- Three large floral arrangements within our venue.
- The ability to bring in different forms of bands, music and entertainment.
- Display cake table. Complimentary cake cutting, plated by our kitchen team. Please provide us with cake bags if you would like guests your take the Wedding cake home with them.
- 4 hour beverage package allows you to choose at what point of the day you would like the package to start and finish.
- Each half an hour extension can be arranged at $10.
- A tab can be set up a tab for you if you would like your first or last served beverages charged on consumption.
- NV Australian sparkling is included in the package. If you would like this beverage to be served I the form of a toast for speeches to all of your guests this will incur a charge of $5 per person.
- Spirits will not be included in our packages, however we are happy to set up a bar tab if you would like.
- Arrival cocktails can be arranged at $18 per person if you would like one specific cocktail served.
- HARE AND GRACE may hold your date tentatively, deposit-free for seven days. Upon request we will then require a $1,000 non-refundable deposit to be paid to secure your date. The remainder of your Weddings costs will be due ten working days prior to your Wedding. At this time menu options are to be confirmed including final numbers and you will provide HARE & GRACE with all dietary requirements including those guest’s names.
- Deposits are only transferrable if you are cancel to HARE & GRACE with more than two months advance of your Wedding date; deposits may then be used towards future HARE & GRACE events or meals.
- If you if you have arranged a Bar tab please supply us with credit card details which we will deduct the tab from at the conclusion of the function.
- A HARE & GRACE employee will be able to meet your florist and people you have employed on the day to set up your Wedding. This time will be arranged with you once you have given us your package start time.
- We do not permit glitter, rice or confetti in our courtyard or inside HARE & GRACE.
- A HARE & GRACE employee will be able to meet your florist and suppliers you have employees on the day to set up your Wedding. This time will be arranged with you once you have given us your package start time, though this is customarily 2 hours prior to arrival time).
- HARE & GRACE staff are happy to place out your place cards and one additional piece of table decoration for you at no additional charge.
- Please also note HARE & GRACE has 94 green chairs in total. If you require more please understand this will come at a cost to you.
- We also have enough ‘restaurant tables’ to seat 60 guests. If your function increases past this we recommend using linen on the two outer tables to conceal the unmatched tables, alternatively you may like crisp white linen on all tables, the choice is yours.
NOTE: Information within this document may change without notice. Once an event order is created for you by HARE & GRACE this will confirm details such as prices and details for your Wedding.
HARE & GRACE does not take responsibility for damage or loss of any client’s property left in the restaurant prior to, during or after a function. Organisers are financially responsible for any damages sustained to the restaurant fittings, property or equipment during your event. If something is damaged you will be notified, and expected to pay for the damages with 10 days. Please advise us of your centrepieces, in particular if they have candles. We must approve that they are safe to your guests and will not damage any part of HARE & GRACE.
You may not attach anything to the walls, doors or any part of the building, (including temporarily)
MUSIC & NOISE CONTROL
HARE & GRACE have a list of entertainers that may compliment your event. If you decide to supply your own entertainment we do have noise level restrictions. Outside entertainment must liaise with the manager for set up times. We reserve the right to control the music level and can alter or stop the music at any time.
Hours can be extended on consultation with the event organiser.
Security maybe required at your expense with discretion of management.
Management reserve the right to cancel the function or remove disruptive individuals if necessary.
Our liquor licence is until 12.00 Midnight; we have a strict NO BYO policy. No beverages can be legally served or consumed after midnight without an additional permit obtained at your expense by prior arrangement.
Taxes all charges are inclusive of a 10% goods and services tax.
